Upstairs Gallery Bulletin #79 (10/29-11/04) “The Reckoning”
After a Cait-less week the Gallery still stands! Walt and Alex did it! HOWEVER, Cait is stuck on her boat due to the FRANKENSTORM SANDY! We’re really hoping everything turns out OK with all that (seriously east coast buddies stay safe). That said we have some SUPER exciting news. This Sunday we’re pumped to host those legends of long form improvisation “The Reckoning” for a one night only engagement. What that will entail outside of a performance from the group we’re not sure exactly but man o man what a delight it will be. PLUS, we’ve still got all those great shows going on ON TOP of that! The No Excuses Short Video Party Show + Party was created to showcase local videomakers and give them a firm deadline to finish and show their next mustardpiece. They are now accepting submissions for this even!
If you have a video around 5 minutes length (there is leeway; we’ve shown 20 second vids and 10 minute ones) that you’ve made in the last few months, upload it to Vimeo, allow for downloading and send us the link via Facebook

Join Jet, Beau, Holly, Charlie, Eddie & Jacob for this one night show at the Upstairs Gallery.
This ensemble has been pushing the boundaries of long form improvisation (and reality) for over a decade. Its members currently appear regularly on Chicago stages at the iO theater, the Second City and ComedySportz as well as on the coasts at iO West and UCB in New York.
The Reckoning will live forever, but this show is one night only. Be there!
