We’re putting up a run of the rarely performed “Living Room” and “Bat” improv forms every Thursday in October!
Join us as we transform the Upstairs Gallery’s studio room into A MAD SCIENTISTS LAB TO RESURRECT THESE TWO FORMS FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE. ITS GONNA GET SPOOOOKY.
Both forms performed by new random assortments of Chicago Improvisers each week.

Did you think we were out of Feelings? Come on. The hottest show in Chicago continues its smash-hit run at the Upstairs Gallery this October with all new material.
- Guaranteed at this show: Thoughts, Dreams and Chimpanzees.
This month, we’re happy to welcome back musical guests Alison Gates and John Huber who will make your toes tap and your lips whistle.
And special guest Brandon Shockney will be there doing bits and breaking hearts!
It’s practically Halloween, so maybe wear a costume? If enough people do, maybe we’ll have a costume contest.
If we don’t, then at least you’ll have a great icebreaker.

The No Excuses Short Video Party Show + Party will inspire and entertain you the first Friday of every month at 10:30pm at the Upstairs Gallery.
We’ve been killing it lately with great new videos. Let’s continue the trend! Submit your shorts. Tell your friends to submit shorts. Tell them to tell their friends to submit shorts.
Just upload your video to Vimeo and send us the link. We’ll play it! People will love it! Or they won’t! And you’ll know what to do differently next time!

The Hamiltons and The HITMEN are coming to the Upstairs Gallery for 4 nights of scary funny improv!
We’ll kill you with comedy and make you laugh until your sides split, your intestines seep out of your abdomen and are lying on the floor in a pool of blood and serous fluid, while life slowly escapes and darkness closes in for the final time. But at least you’ll be having a good time!
