Upstairs Gallery Bulletin #74 (9/24-9/30) “TWO YEARS OF SICK ADVENTURES!!!!!”

No joke. Two years ago we had our first Sick Adventure on a Tuesday night in the room that became the gallery. We were just renting from some friends and putting up one show a month. We didn’t know anything. Now we run the whole floor and put up shows 7 nights a week. We still don’t know anything, but we’re getting a better idea. At some point a space existing stops being remarkable and you have to stop celebrating every little milestone. We’re probably almost out of those mini-milestones, so we would love it if you came out on Friday to celebrate the last two years with us.

Tom Hanks Presents is the brainchild of Brandon Jerger (Monkey Island) and Ashley Whitehurst (Ashley & Friends), and is inspired by America’s favorite actor and human: Tom Hanks. Watch as both of their groups improvise from suggestions of Tom Hanks movies! Yeah, that’s happening. They’re also supported by some really great teams throughout the run! Check it out, dudes.
