Not make a team? Get cut from a team? On a team but want to play more? Then this Harold jam is for you. Two hours of nothing but Harold, with copious notes given after. Notes will focus on your individual choices, as well as what went well/wrong with the piece. This jam gives you an opportunity to to practice your Harold skills, in a no-preasure environment. Teams will be crated each week with whomever attends, giving you a chance to play with a variety of people. Even if you don’t want to learn anything, but just want a chance to play more often, this is for you. When the workshop is over, some folks will have a chance to audition for a new team.
The Harold Jam takes place every Thursday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. (beginning September 27) and is $10 cash at the door. It will be offered for 10 weeks, with the possibility of extension. To register each week, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
This workshop is taught by Christy Bonstell, a teacher with over 10 years experience. She currently teaches at iO and performs with Ringo Starr. Find out more about Christy at www.christybonstell.com.
